Where do I get money to start a carwash business?

I would like to start a carwash business in my town that is a Carwash and cafe. The idea is to go wash your car and while your car is being washed you can have Spanish/ Latino food from the cafe. We will serve foods from all sorts of Latin Countries. I recently took an Enterpernuership seminar where they tought us about business. I sucessfully completed the course but I was too busy to take the second course they offer on financial freedom. In the course they never tought us how to start the business we wanted. They just thought us how to stay sucessful in it.I heard from a friend of my mom that the government has free unclaimed money online or at certain banks that I can get to start the business. I have searched but most sources want to charge me for the money. How can I make starting this car wash business possible and where do I go to get the money for it? And can I get it free without having to take a loan or pay anything? I am only 18 years old and a Senior in High school. thanks

There are no grants for a for profit business unless you are opening a daycare. If you need money, you will need to apply for a loan. No lender will talk to you unless you provide them with a valid business plan. Go to http://www.sba.gov , http://www.score.org or http://www.bplan.com for sample business plans and instructions on how to write a business plan.

Then, go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to review your business plan and discuss various loan options available to you.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.
Reply:The fastest way is to get a job and save all that you can. It adds up quickly as long as you don't keep dipping into it. A good part time job will be a great start. You have to get some good credit too. You could buy something small on time. Buy something that you really want or need. If you make all of the payments on time; you will begin a credit line. It will take more than that to borrow for a car wash business, but it's a good beginning. Good luck to you.
Reply:a business that size would require you have substantial money of your own invested - you're not going o get 100% financing when you're not risking anything yourself - you would probably need $100,000 of your own money to even get anyone to talk to you about additional financing/partnership investing
