I would like to make a little money at home by selling online. But I dont want to invest too much money, I just want something I can try out. What are the best ways to make money online by selling? I heard starting a business on E-Bay was a good idea. Thanks for your help.

Your suggestion to start a business on ebay is good. But first try to sell some items on ebay as a test. Try to sell items you have you no longer use. You can even sell used jeans, knick knacks, jewelry you no longer wear, items around the house. Once you have sold some items you will decide if you would like to continue, you can say I like it or I quit. Also you will not have a lot invested in this trial and if you decide not to continue you will not have some big agreement to fulfill with ebay. To open a store on ebay is a commitment.

There's sooo much crap out there and companies that promise you the world but deliver nothing but hype, it takes a while to seperate the crap from the genuine money making opportunities.
Now after sooo many disapointments I'm using a crowd called Data Entry Pro and it's now making me money (finally!) online.
Anyway, basically you sign up with them and then once your logged in you just fill in as many forms as you like in their members section and you get paid for each one. I get checks from them every 2 weeks each averaging around $250-$350. You could make more but I just use the site as an extra income stream aswell as my full time job so I only work on it for around an hour each night.
You do have to be prepared to spend a little money though if you want to do anything online like this but it´s already been worth it for me.

Reply:There are many things you can do a lot of it depends on what talents you already have. If you have good computer skills there are online temp freelance companies (elance can be found in the free stuff section of my third source below) Survey taking is Slow but it does work (I make about a hundred a month from the three companies I do surveys with it takes about a half hour a day this works out to about 7 dollars an hour) I am also training as a medical transcriptionist but this costs about 2 to 3 thousand to get the training and takes about a year. You could try to learn Affiliate marketing (the third source below is an affiliate marketing site) but it is also very slow and has a STEEP learning curve. CafePress (My first and third source) is fun if you have artistic talent or a good imagination. Again the money is slow but steady and a good store can really take off. DO NOT PAY for any programs (unless you can try them for free first like you can with cafepress and see if you can make money with it) If you have to pay FIRST it is probably a scam (even if it is only $9.99)

Anyway, basically you sign up with them and then once your logged in you just fill in as many forms as you like in their members section and you get paid for each one. I get checks from them every 2 weeks each averaging around $250-$350. You could make more but I just use the site as an extra income stream aswell as my full time job so I only work on it for around an hour each night.
You do have to be prepared to spend a little money though if you want to do anything online like this but it´s already been worth it for me.

Reply:There are many things you can do a lot of it depends on what talents you already have. If you have good computer skills there are online temp freelance companies (elance can be found in the free stuff section of my third source below) Survey taking is Slow but it does work (I make about a hundred a month from the three companies I do surveys with it takes about a half hour a day this works out to about 7 dollars an hour) I am also training as a medical transcriptionist but this costs about 2 to 3 thousand to get the training and takes about a year. You could try to learn Affiliate marketing (the third source below is an affiliate marketing site) but it is also very slow and has a STEEP learning curve. CafePress (My first and third source) is fun if you have artistic talent or a good imagination. Again the money is slow but steady and a good store can really take off. DO NOT PAY for any programs (unless you can try them for free first like you can with cafepress and see if you can make money with it) If you have to pay FIRST it is probably a scam (even if it is only $9.99)

I want to open a Mutual Fund account online, can I withdraw my money at any time without penalty?
do NOT buy Mutual Funds!! Instead, buy what is called an Exchange Traded Fund. Loosely similar but VFINX and SPYDER both follow the S%26amp;P 500. That means you will NEVER do worse than "the market". My first purchase was an ETF. I bought $1000 of VFINX. It had a 10% rate of return. Mutual funds, on the other hand get only about 6%, some even only 4%. Bump that! Spyder gets exactly what VFINX does. Vanguard (the V in Vfinx) offers several types of funds that parallel the market. But after a while, even a 10% r.o.r. is not good enough. I got into oil and my returns went into triple digits.
With Exchange Traded Funds, which buy and sell exactly like stock, there is no penalty for selling them. There are no fees either, other than the 7 dollar charge that Scottrade charges you for any purchase, no matter how large or small.

I just want to make a little extra income to save for a trip. There is so many online scams for making money online, or pyamids type of online jobs. And i know high pay online jobs is crap. So wonder if there is easy or simply to do online jobs to make a little money.

I only work on weekends but you can make your own schedule. I've only been doing it for 4 months now, but I'm so excited about how well it's going. They jewelry sells itself! I make at least $150 for a 2-3 hour show! You can't beat that and it's fun and a great company. I tell everyone because I know how hard it is to find something that's the real deal. Don't trust any online job, especially from people who respond to you on Yahoo Answers about online jobs. It is just the same as spam email, you just invited them to send something to you.
The only good way I can think to find an online job is through references that you know personally. And don't trust any job that wants you to pay for something up front, asks for your credit card number, etc.

Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. If this could be done by one site, why not others.
I play for free on sites only. ZeroRiskPoker.com has about 20 freerolls a day for prizes only. No membership fee or money to play with. It gives me better play then yahoo which is fixed limit. There are tons of other free play sites, but I like theres b/c I get prizes and the amount of different prizes makes it interesting.

I'd suggest that you visit your local bookstore and read some of Phil Gordon's books and maybe some of David Sklansky's books. Start off at the lowest stakes, and don't move up until you have proven to be profitable at the lower stakes. There is a lot of variance in poker, so don't make the mistake of assuming that a few winning sessions is indicative of your superior skill. You need something like 500 or more tournaments before you stats become meaningful. If you are playing ring games then I'm not sure how many hands you need to play, but for tournaments I'd want to show a profit through 500 tournaments before I moved up to the next level. Also, make sure you play within your bankroll. The general rule I use is that I will not buy into a tournament unless I have 30 buyins for that level. This keeps me from going broke even if I have a long stretch of bad cards or bad beats.

I need some ideas of how could I make money online! I went to a lot of sites that said kind of like that: If you put our banner on your site we'll give you I don't know how many dollars for every person that downloads our program or clicks the ad. And all you have to do is register!
But when I wanted to register, I saw that they asked me for some money to sign up. So they were asking for my credit card number... So obviously I couldn't give them this information so I left those sites.
Is there any HONEST site that can really give you money for different sort of things, like typing something for them, or posting ads on sites, or different kind of things like that? And one that won't ask you for money to sign up?

My daughter broke her laptop and wants to make money to buy a used one off ebay. Noone wants a 12 year old babysitter, they think its too young, and i really have no chores for her to do around the house. Google around for Second Life and money making. Pople do make real money selling virtual goods, although she would have to translate her virtual money to paypal - which she could then use on ebay.
The other thing Id pay a 12 year old for is to scan all my old childhood photos or upload my old cds, and then deliver the digital files back to me. (I wouldnt have any more questionable CDs then probably Poison from the 80s')

My wife does this and gets $5 or $10 here and there, plus free samples; she once sat out in front of a doughnut chain (4 hrs, two days), filled out a lengthy questionairre and got $120. She bought a book called "The Mystery Shoppers Manual" by Cathy Stucker and it helped. Worth a look next time you're on a bookstore. Not big money, but it's usually pretty easy and very flexible.

Your referrals' page views count towards your own, and Yuwie gives you a tree up to level 10 (you referred someone who referred someone else who referred someone else, etc.)
With this type of program your initial payout is DEFINITELY going to be on the low end...most Yuwie members are getting between 10 cents and a couple dollars their first month. It's the type of thing that takes a while to get developed.
As for doing it an hour a day, that's also possible. If you have, say, 5,000 referrals on your 10th level (which gives you a 30% payout per 1,000 page views - 5 million page views, which is probably about $700 a month), you wouldn't have to do a thing, and you'd still get a decent amount of money.

I knew this guy was a scam but I wanted to know how he was going to proceed and I was hoping to find a way to catch/stop these guys to create more innocent victims. He sent his address and phone# for wire instruction and I haven't sent the money yet (duh), but Western Union will not do anything to help me... I am trying to find out if there is any agency who would do something ....
