On-line surveys? can you really make money from them?
You can make a little extra pocket change from doing surveys, but it's certainly no replacement for any kind of real work. There are legitimate places which either pay checks per survey, or give points that can be turned into cash when you reach some minimal amount, or points that can be exchanged for gifts. Some only have sweepstakes which are hard to win. Some give you nothing but the satisfaction that you've been able to give your two cents about something. Which is why I do them. (None of these places paid or gave gifts years ago, and I was doing them back them.)

As long as they are legit and aren't using your info for bad purposes, or selling it to someone else, then there's nothing "scam" about them. They just aren't a great way to try to make money. Again, it's just pocket change. It *will* depend on how many you personally happen to qualify for.

Some of the legit places I know of are Buzzback, Global Test Market, American Consumer Opinion Poll (ACOP), SurveySavvy, EPoll (legit but annoying surveys if you ask me), IPSOS, Mysurvey, and Home Testing Institute. (I've not had a problem with any of these selling my info or sending me spam or anything.) Home Testing Institute sometimes has me do product tests and I can keep the stuff, but again, it's not like it's worth much in the scheme of things.

When I go to a new place, I check their privacy policy carefully, but they could be lying, so I always start with a freebie email that I use for nothing else, give it a couple of months or so, and see if I start getting spam or having any problems. So far, no problems. Then after their trial period, they get my real email.

P.S. Based on King's response -- if you want checks or gifts, you *have* to give them personal information. Just be careful. You can always give them false (but legit-sounding) info to start, and then later if you decide you are comfortable with a place, then give them the real thing. And I missed Harris Poll. They've been around a long time and used to do phone and snail mail surveys years ago.
Reply:I got into that a little while ago but my experience wasnt as good- i ended up getting into things where you had to pay-or they took money from me- just be careful. Never give them any personal information.
Reply:i never got my ps3 or ipod there a rip off

Reply:Many people these days are making money online with paid surveys. I have found that these paid surveys are especially suitable for students. Since many students are living with a tight%26lt;!--budget the several hundred dollars that can be made monthly is a big help and the flexibility of taking paid surveys online is a big plus for students as well. To join these companies, you dont need a credit card and the best part is that you dont need to pay anything. Its FREE.

These are three of the top reasons that paid surveys are so well suited to students. Students spend a good--%26gt;part of their time online already. Paid survey sites place a premium on users between the ages of 13-25 3. Most students can benefit from the extra money earned with paid surveys
Reply:you should try cashcrate. It's legit and very easy. I make about an extra 50 bucks a month.

Reply:I've tried all the stuff from Bruce Berman to typing for dollars. They are all a waste. I have spent months and several hundred dollars on all these crazy plans. The only ones that worked for me are the true home employment websites. These guys don't just tell you about online income opportunities, they show you step by step how to do it. I've been a participant for a few months now and am averaging $500 a week. Mind you it took a few weeks to get the nack but the true home employment people are great coaches. Give them a try. Goodluck.
Reply:no on line surveys just waste time trust me. If you want on line work you should probably do some work for a real company, like i think there are places that will apply you if not the govrnment is supposed to gove you money during your pregnancy, just do some more research on that.
Reply:Hi,

I was very skeptical about joining this one, but I was immediately impressed.

I've received many surveys and have earned hundreds of points, cash, and

free stuff. All this in just one month! It is truly legit!
