EVERY BODY HELP !!! I am so confused about online businesses.?

You just cannot imagine how much I am confused and bewildered about starting an online business. I want to start an online business to make about 3000$ a month, but the main problems are:

1- There are many ways to make money online such as : Adsense , eBay , Affiliate programs , Data entry programs , etc.

2- Internet is full of scams, so it really takes a lot of valuabe time to find the right one .

The hardest part is to choose one of these ways. I am ready for hard working and I am not looking for getting rich quickly.

I just don't know what to focus on. I need the advice of experienced people like you to help me reach my goal. I need the advice of professionals . I don't fear hard working . I have a geat motivation, but i don't know where to put it.

Which one do you prefer and why ?

1- eBay

2- Adesense

3- Affiliate Programs

4- data entry Programs

5- ect ( your new idea )

I believe that focusing on one thing is better than focusing on several things . So help choose.

EVERY BODY HELP !!! I am so confused about online businesses.?
While ads and affiliate programs are legitimate, they do depend on having lots of people visit your site AND clicking on ads. the more they click, the more money you get.

Most people these days tend to not click on the ads, (including me) so you will not get a lot of money that way.

Survey programs are also legitimate, but you generally only get paid if you qualify for and COMPLETE a survey. There are so many surveys that screen you out.

Not sure what you mean by data entry programs.

Basically there are NO legitimate jobs you can do online where you get paid (a decent amount) by an employer. That is just NOT going to happen.

I have heard that BBB is not very good either. I hear stories of companies being part of BBB but still running scams and BBB do nothing about it.

If you do want to start your own business, you HAVE to invest some money to start a business. You need to pay for stock, a business license, advertising and taxes.

As for not paying anyone to start a business - that is NOT true. Most of the websites that claim you can run your own business and ask you to pay money, then send you junk or nothing. Those are the places with the bad reputations.

Places like Usborne books, Tupperware and Avon where you MUST buy a starter kit, are legitimate, but then its up to you to sell the stock and make your profit.
Reply:The offers are many, and it is indeed confusing. What I have learned so far, be certain that the site offering the business has a BBB logo. Never pay up front fee, for starting a busness on line. Selling on E-Bay is very popular, you may want to look into that if selling is your forte. Check Affiliate and Data Entry for BBB logo and eliminate if not available. I am also still considering .....
Reply:You are absolutely right about there being many different ways to make money online. Unfortunately you must decide on one or two and focus your efforts. The thing you must realize is there is;

1. alot of people making money on the net

2. it will take some time and a little money to get it going

There are some inexpensive ways to get it started.

The first thing I would suggest you do is to start building your list. Your list is nothing more than having a group of people you can mail your offers to. You will have a built in customer base for what ever you decide to promote.

The easiest and most cost efficient way is to start with social networking sites like adlandpro or apsense. There are many to choose from. Again start with only one or two as you can very easily become overwhelmed.

You should then progress to having your own auto-responder and build your private list. By that I mean, these people have opted in to get email from you. You can do this by having a newsletter, offering free e-books, or even better yet owning your won membership site.

What ever you decide you should concentrate on getting the name and email from your visitors. This will be much more valuable than just sending traffic to someone else's site.

If you would like a way to get this started, email me and I can give you a way to get your list started that will make you money without any start up cost.

Expect Success,

Reply:1. ebay is dead, days of making a living are gone. once something has info commericals, its a joke, ebay has them.

2. adsense works IF you have a very popular site getting many hits. this is hard to accomplish. and it will take more than one site. you will live at a computer to collect pennies.

3. too many scams

4. can only punch numbers so fast, money is limited. I normally only see this position with insurance companies.

5. get off the dream of, I can sit at home, go click click click and get a paycheck in my mail box. its the scammers dream that was created to sucker people into all the scams.

Web designers make a good living, but they don't just sit at home. They have to go meet the clients, take pictures, have meetings, etc.

Even online stores outside of ebay, takes massive time, energy, money, cross pomoting to get your store out there and noticed. Sure you might get a few hits and sales but enough to keep you alive? Doubtful as there are 4 million other stores as well fighting for the same customers.

Best way to make money, own a business is to take something you love, that is a hobby and turn it into your career.

If you like to collect pine cones. Collect them, pack them with peanut butter and bird seed, seal wrap them and sell them to nature stores, hardware stores, etc as natural bird feeders for $2 each, investment is like 50 cents each.

Take $50 and get biz cards, trash bags and a dot com linked to a blog for simple site. Tie ladder to car, drive to rich neighborhood and knock on 30 doors a day. 6 will say yes, charge $50 per home to clean gutters, takes 1 hour. Basic 6-8 hr day you make $300. For week after taxes, supplies you take home $1000 for doing a basic home chore.

I recently came up with a way to restore headlights that are fogged and yellowed over. I do touch up paint work for dealerships now. The headlights are my new ticket. Get $75 a pair, takes me 15 mins a pair and costs me $5 a pair. I line up 4 cars at once and knock them out, in turn making $280 per hour. About to start a business that does just this job.

Money is all around in front of you, just a matter of seeing it.

You could be a delivery service for an old folks home. Go to 30 rooms and take orders for socks, rolaids, candy, etc. Meds are taken care of by the home, this is just the Walmart run if you will. Take the orders and go shopping, return and give the stuff out. Hand them a bill and add 10% as a charge. If they only get $20 in junk, that is $2 to you times 30 rooms is $60. For 1 hour talking, 1 hour shopping, 1 hour delivery or $20 per hour. For taking care of the old, how sweet.

Go to remodeling sites of old buildings, collect the hardware, old stoves, mantles, etc. Either clean them up or sell as is. You got them free and people will pay you for them. Why let it go to the landfill if you can make money?
