I knew this guy was a scam but I wanted to know how he was going to proceed and I was hoping to find a way to catch/stop these guys to create more innocent victims. He sent his address and phone# for wire instruction and I haven't sent the money yet (duh), but Western Union will not do anything to help me... I am trying to find out if there is any agency who would do something ....
I met a guy in Nigeria online and he's now asking to wire money. With inf I have, any way to catch him?

Reply:Turn the info over to the law enforcement office in your town and don't correspond with him again. He could do worse than try to scam you - you obviously told him where you are and who you are!

Reply:For a good education on how to scam a scammer, go to www419eater.com. They do this on a regular basis and have made it into an art form. It's quite funny.
Reply:Get as much info you can out of him and play along. Contact the FBI asap. See if you can get him to even send a picture.
