Does anyone actually make money filling out surverys?
Recently, I read an interesting Yahoo Q%26amp;As about secret shopping, and was wondering if anyone has taken part in those online surveys, and if so, do you actually see the money for them?
I was fascinated in all the answers for the the secret shopping question, and hope to see a lot of helpful answers on this one. Thanks!

Yes you can; but there are scammers. You should do a couple of hours of research fist. My wife does this and gets $5 or $10 here and there, plus free samples; she once sat out in front of a doughnut chain (4 hrs, two days), filled out a lengthy questionairre and got $120. She bought a book called "The Mystery Shoppers Manual" by Cathy Stucker and it helped. Worth a look next time you're on a bookstore. Not big money, but it's usually pretty easy and very flexible.
Reply:NO U WONT EVEN GET A APPRECIATION FOR DOING THAT.

Anyone ever joined one of those online data entry websites that "earn" lots of money?
u kno the sites that say u can earn up to $500 a day all for an hours work, and u join up and pay a certain ammount of money?, are they really legit?
Anyone ever joined one of those online data entry websites that "earn" lots of money?
I'm actually doing one of those right now. The figures they give you are only POTENTIAL. On Yuwie ( http://r.yuwie.com/nadiyya_virus if you want to give it a try ), your monthly payout is based on your number of page views. Your referrals' page views count towards your own, and Yuwie gives you a tree up to level 10 (you referred someone who referred someone else who referred someone else, etc.)
With this type of program your initial payout is DEFINITELY going to be on the low end...most Yuwie members are getting between 10 cents and a couple dollars their first month. It's the type of thing that takes a while to get developed.
As for doing it an hour a day, that's also possible. If you have, say, 5,000 referrals on your 10th level (which gives you a 30% payout per 1,000 page views - 5 million page views, which is probably about $700 a month), you wouldn't have to do a thing, and you'd still get a decent amount of money.
$500 a day is by far exaggerating ($15,000 a month), but it's feasible to get a regular salary out of a pay-per-view site ($3,000 a month).
The sites that make you pay to use their services, however, stay away from them. If they seem legitimate, it's because you're paying them probably $50 to see a collection of material that you can find for yourself on a search engine.
So for the most part, get rich quick schemes are NOT worth it. It's the ones that make you work hard at first and sit back after you've developed a nice foothold. If you're looking for something like that, give Yuwie a try. Unlike the other's it's free.
Most people who work at home with online income are using multiple services. Check out a couple of the sites in the sources...they're free ones, take a little while to get going, but actually give you a legitimate payout.
Reply:nah they are not, its only doing surveys and its like $20
waste of time unless your a big as cheapo. working at maccas is even more money than that.

I met a guy in Nigeria online and he's now asking to wire money. With inf I have, any way to catch him?
I knew this guy was a scam but I wanted to know how he was going to proceed and I was hoping to find a way to catch/stop these guys to create more innocent victims. He sent his address and phone# for wire instruction and I haven't sent the money yet (duh), but Western Union will not do anything to help me... I am trying to find out if there is any agency who would do something ....

Try the FBI or the FTC
FBI: http://www.fbi.gov/
FTC: http://www.ftc.gov/
Reply:Turn the info over to the law enforcement office in your town and don't correspond with him again. He could do worse than try to scam you - you obviously told him where you are and who you are!
Reply:good luck,haha,hope you getim!!!
Reply:For a good education on how to scam a scammer, go to www419eater.com. They do this on a regular basis and have made it into an art form. It's quite funny.
Reply:Get as much info you can out of him and play along. Contact the FBI asap. See if you can get him to even send a picture.
Reply:Contact the police and see what they say.

try jemsplace they have work from home links on their page
Reply:1-800-FLOWERS is hiring. Lots of restrictions apply, but it's worth a shot. Click on "Employment" at the bottom of the home page.
Also check on Craigslist "gigs" for odd jobs (not usually online, but local to your area).
If you're considering any other online opportunities, I suggest you Google the website or company name along with the word "scam" to help weed out the multitude of con artists.
Thanks
